Rorschach instead of a cover: XΛVΛX’s visual language
Axial symmetry, reflection, observer — how the project’s visual code works.
XΛVΛX artwork works as axial symmetry / Rorschach: abstract forms mirrored on an axis become a mirror for the listener.
Not a logo — a test
Visual language matches sound: observer and reflection stay on one axis. Nailmark surface behavior: symmetry; light: mirror-axis.
Not “pretty abstraction for a cover.” The same principle as the palindrome cycle: form looking at itself.
What you see in the blot is part of the composition.
That is why XΛVΛX sells poorly as a single phrase “progressive instrumental.” It needs a second layer: observation.
