Coldspire appeared in Bryansk in 2025 as a solo project by Dmitry Belov. Not another side channel to heavier music, but a separate answer to a long-standing wish: write cinematic folk you can dissolve into.
Nailmark canon puts it plainly: a rest from denser, heavier forms. Coldspire belongs where complexity does not need proving — where space, cold and road are enough.
A soundtrack to life, not a trailer
At the center are natural soundscapes and the idea of a “soundtrack to life”: forest, old stone, open space. Not a fantasy shopfront and not a postcard forest. More an inward trip you can walk to.
